2005 - 2016 in Istanbul MEDI Medical Center,
Between 2005 and 2021, I worked at Private Acıbadem Fulya Hospital.

Wat is KNO Consult?

KNO consult is de naam die wordt gegeven aan de diagnose, opvolging en behandeling van oor-, neus- en keelaandoeningen van een patiënt, waarbij gebruik wordt gemaakt van de kennis en ervaring van artsen met betrekking tot de ziekte en de uiteindelijke beslissing die over de patiënt wordt genomen in overeenstemming met deze aanbevelingen. Na de uitgebreide onderzoeken door de KNO-arts dient de betreffende branchearts zijn/haar kennis en ervaring eerst mondeling telefonisch of face-to-face, maar ook schriftelijk via het computersysteem of dossier, over te dragen aan de eerstverantwoordelijke arts.

Wat is oor, neus en keel?

Oor, neus en keel; Het omvat gehoor, spraak, neus en sinus, evenwichtsstoornissen, diagnose en behandeling van keelaandoeningen, hoofd- en nekkankers en chirurgie van tumorstructuren in deze regio. Oorgerelateerde ziekten; Tinnitus, oorsmeer, vochtophoping in het oor, ontsteking van de uitwendige gehoorgang, acute middenoorontsteking, gehoorverlies. Daarnaast houdt de KNO-arts zich bezig met problemen zoals oortumoren, oorpijn, oorafscheiding, oorbloeding. Ziekten van de bovenste luchtwegen en het spijsverteringskanaal of van het spijsverteringskanaal en problemen die verband houden met de structuur van het strottenhoofd, vallen ook onder de reikwijdte van de KNO-arts. Dit omvat aandoeningen die verband houden met stem, ademhaling en slikken. KNO-artsen grijpen in bij infecties en tumoren in de hoofd-halsstructuren. Ze zijn ook opgeleid voor de behandeling van gezichtstrauma en gezichtsmisvormingen.
