What is Scar Removal?

Under normal conditions, scas in our body tend to heal significantly within 3-4 weeks. However, the wounds that have a delayed or non-healing tendency after 4-6 weeks are called chronic scars. Scars are closed with plastic surgery techniques, such as skin grafts (skin patches) and skin flaps (tissue transfer). Surgical treatment is generally not recommended for hypertrophic scar tissue, while surgical correction of the scars (scar removal or revision surgery) is frequently performed by plastic surgeons in order to reduce the scar in normal scar tissue.

What is Plastic Surgery?

Plastic surgery covers the reconstruction and reshaping of various structures on the body, the elimination of serious tissue losses and all kinds of aesthetic procedures. Cosmetic and aesthetic surgery are the most well-known parts of plastic surgery. In plastic surgery, there is a common misunderstanding that the word plastic means artificial. Rather the word comes from the ancient Greek word “plastikos” means molding or forming. Reconstructive plastic surgery is a treatment used to heal dysfunctional body parts. It is used primarily to restore function, although it can also change the individual's appearance. Cosmetic plastic surgery procedures, techniques and principles are entirely focused on improving the patient's appearance. Improving aesthetic appeal, symmetry and proportion are key goals.

Treatment In Bulgaria

Bulgaria has a long history of health tourism, dating back to ancient times when the Romans and Thracians recognized the healing properties of the mineral springs and hot springs in the region. Today, Bulgaria continues to be a popular destination for health tourism, offering a wide range of medical treatments and wellness services.

One of the main draws of health tourism in Bulgaria is the country's numerous spas and thermal baths. These facilities offer a variety of treatments, including hydrotherapy, massage, and mud therapy, all of which are believed to have healing properties for conditions such as arthritis, rheumatism, and skin conditions.

In addition to spas and thermal baths, Bulgaria also offers a wide range of medical treatments, including plastic surgery, dental procedures, and infertility treatments. The country is home to many highly-skilled medical professionals and state-of-the-art medical facilities, which make it a popular destination for medical tourism.
