What is Psychology?

Psychology is the systematic and scientific study of human behavior and mental processes. The causes of psychological disorders are quite complicated and usually occur for more than one reason. The medical model is used in the diagnosis of psychological diseases and is made as the definition of physical diseases. Complaints of the patient are listened and an appropriate diagnosis is made according to the symptoms of the disease. In addition, psychometric tests are also applied to patients to diagnose diseases.
