What is Preimplantation Genetic Screening?

In the Preimplantation Genetic Screening (PGS) method, the aim is to take the cells from the embryos formed even though there is no chromosomal abnormality and to examine the chromosome structures and place the normal embryo into the uterus. It is applied in couples with recurrent pregnancy loss or recurrent IVF failure. It is also recommended for couples whose sperm values are extremely low or whose mother's age is 40 and over.
