The patient is given superficial anesthesia in the presence of an anesthesiologist which allows him to fall asleep deeply. 1-2 days before the colonoscopy procedure, the patient must be fed with a watery and soft diet and at the same time he must take the medicines to cleanse the bowel before the procedure.
